The Figs Byron offers award-winning accommodation, an elopement and events venue, and panoramic views of the Nightcap Ranges, Wollumbin / Mt Warning and Mt Chincogan, and the Pacific Ocean at Brunswick Heads. All nestled under four magnificent 350-year-old fig trees.
There are three high-quality, recently built apartments providing on-site accommodation for up to 12 persons. Each apartment has a private entrance and large covered verandah leading to extensive pathways through the property's impressive gardens. Apartment 2 is wheelchair accessible.
Apartment 2 is a ground-floor studio apartment with a queen-sized bed, a full accessible bathroom, a work desk, a kitchenette, a small lounge area, and large (50") smart TV.
Apartments 1 and 3 are suitable for travelling companions, multi-generational travel and extended families. These are two-level apartments connected by a stunning glass-enclosed spiral staircase providing unencumbered views. The upper level has panoramic views from the mountains to the sea, and amazing vistas into the gardens and the elevated limbs of the magnificent old fig trees. The ground floor includes a kitchenette, bathroom, large (50") smart TV and living/dining space; upstairs features a queen-sized bed, work desk, smart TV and lounge area. The downstairs lounge is also a pull-out sofa bed (sleeps 2).
An additional adjoining upstairs bedroom can be added to one of the multi-storey apartments for an additional 2 guests.
There is also accessible parking, an accessible ramp into the swimming pool, and many of the garden paths are wheelchair accessible.
Bed configurations:
Apartment 2 - 1 queen-sized bed (sleeps 2), which is wheelchair accessible.
Apartment 1 & 3 - 1 queen-sized bed (sleeps 2), and one sofa-bed (sleeps 2).
Additional upstairs bedroom with 1 king bed, which can be split into 2 single beds. Can be connected to either apartment 1 or 3.
Activities in and around The Figs Byron Accessible Accommodation
Swimming Pool / Spa, Amenities and Bar Area – This includes 15 metre swimming pool with ramp entry, integrated 8-person spa, 5-metre-long bar, BBQ and food preparation area, shower and 2 toilets, and panoramic views to the hinterland, mountains and beautiful sunsets.
Events pavilion - 11 meter diameter octagonal pavilion with attached hall totaling 140 sq meters. The building features natural pole construction, drop down sides, a beautiful spotted gum ceiling and floor, and has uninterrupted panoramic views from the mountains to the sea. Adjacent to the pavilion is a grassed, level site for a marquee, teepees or other type of temporary pavilion. It is easily accessible from the guest carpark and can accommodate a 21m x 10m marquee or multiple teepees depending on the size.
