Jade Cottage at Lonsdale Palms Point Lonsdale Accessible Accommodation is a delightfully spacious, easily accessible one-bedroom unit, with a king size bed, which can be split into two singles. It was purpose-built to cater for people of all abilities. The entrance has a ramp for wheelchair access, the bathroom has a roll-in shower with rails and an accessible toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen along with ducted heating and cooling, a washing machine and a dryer, all set in a secluded garden whilst close to the beach.

Jade Cottage is an architecturally designed, purpose-built accessible holiday unit. There is a ramp for wheelchair access to the main entrance with undercover car parking provided adjacent to the unit. The cottage comprises one bedroom with king size bed and is able to be split into two single beds. It opens to a private deck overlooking a secluded garden. It is nicely appointed with period furniture throughout the spacious open-plan living-dining area including a smart TV with capabilities for captions (subtitles).

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped to suit all holiday needs.

The bathroom is designed for use by people of all abilities. The toilet is accessible as well as the shower area is on a level floor surface free from any step, with an adjustable shower head that can be handheld. The taps are mixers easily adjusted with one hand and there are support rails provided near both the toilet and shower.

Stay cosy and comfortable

The cottage has ducted heating and cooling, a washing machine and a clothes dryer. Except for the clothes dryer controls and switches are at an accessible height for everyone.
The cottage can easily accommodate additional guests as there is a pull-down queen-size Murphy bed in the living area.

The sunny north-facing deck, with a Weber BBQ connected to mains gas, is the perfect spot for alfresco dining.

The high-speed access to Wifi and Netflix is free.

Assistance dogs and other well-behaved pets are welcome with water and food bowls provided but not bedding for animals.

Jade Cottage is located close to the beach and both Point Lonsdale Village and the historic township of Queenscliff. There is so much to see and do in these locations, especially just enjoying the magnificent views across Port Phillip Bay, to the Rip and Bass Strait beyond.

Take a morning walk along the boardwalk, and relax with a coffee from one of the cafes in the Lonny Village.

Take timeout to visit the lovely waterfront Point Lonsdale Village, with interesting shops, local eateries and great coffee! Breathe the fresh sea air while enjoying the stunning views of Port Phillip Bay or of “The Rip” and across the Bay to Point Nepean on the Mornington Peninsular.

Check out the shipping coming through “The Heads” larger vessels are required to hand over command to a Pilot from Queenscliff. The brightly coloured Pilot Boats can be seen meeting the ships.
