An accessible houseboat that is custom refurbished by a couple who worked in Disability Service, this gorgeous accommodation offers a memorable holiday experience in comfort. Choose to have your houseboat piloted, or do it yourself.

The wheelchair-accessible houseboat is aptly named ‘Inclusion’. It's a modern and well-maintained vessel and has all the comforts to make your holiday an enjoyable experience. 'Inclusion' offers Five large private bedrooms with queen size beds that can come apart into singles for ultimate flexibility. The Three Bedrooms have wheelchair access (extra wide 1300mm wide doorways). Two standard Bathrooms and One large purpose-built wheelchair accessible bathroom that sets a high standard with excellent disabled facilities.

They also have available, at no extra cost, the following items, if required. • Sling Lifter (BYO Sling) • Two Electric hospital-style beds • Commodes • Shower chairs • Safety Access Ramp

Only Registered Service animals are permitted. Must have Certification paperwork. Pets in general are not permitted. BYO bed and bowls.

The wheelchair-accessible houseboat is maintained to a high standard and is compliant with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority Standards. Furthermore, they are also EPA compliant. A pilot service is available to drive the houseboat. Of course, additional fees apply for this service. Pets are negotiable by arrangement with management. Also, bus transfer is available at an additional cost.

Renmark is a major town in the Riverland region. A  region with an agricultural flavour with wine, citrus fruit and almonds grown in the area. The township has many historical sites and museums and many hotels and restaurants near the riverfront. Visit a Brewery and Gin Distillery with tours being available. Most venues are wheelchair friendly and close proximity to the town. The terrain is flat and suitable for walkers and wheelchairs. Of course, you are spoilt for choice with houseboat activities.  Fishing, canoeing, photography and bird watching. Visit Renmark's Famous Possum Parade. Pat and feed the local possums at the Riverfront of Renmark in the evening.  If you plan well, Renmark rose festival is in October, Rock n Roll festival is in March. Also, there are Riverland field days in September. Also, Dingy Derby is held early February, Over 100 competitors racing in small boats throughout many of the local creeks.
