The park features a brand new waterfront accessible duplex villa - two fully self-contained apartments that can be booked individually as a one-bedroom villa or combined to form a very large two-bedroom villa. Accessible features include a wheelchair-friendly ramp, self-opening entrance door, large circulation spaces throughout the cabin, motorized adjustable kitchen benchtops and cupboards, remote-controlled blinds, and accessible bathroom facilities.

Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park with accessible accommodation is located on the shores of Lake Macquarie, just 90 minutes north of Sydney. The park is almost completely encircled by water and offers incredible views of the lake from almost every site and cabin. Park facilities include a brand new swimming pool (including hoist access), playground, recreational room and BBQ facilities. Boat hire facilities and safe launching ramps are all close by along with beautiful beaches just a short drive away. The park’s central location and proximity to other recreational facilities such as golf, lawn bowls, tennis, shopping, cafes, restaurants and clubs makes it the perfect choice for a getaway. Activities In Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park Accessible Accommodation
A brand new swimming pool features hoist access and is located adjacent to the recreation room and BBQ area which is accessible via a ramp. There are flat pathways and a ramp leading to the pool precinct with a 1280mm wide entry gate to the pool. A recreation room, BBQ area, and playground are attached to the pool precinct. The recreation room has a unisex accessible toilet. The pool hoist is available for use, please notify at the time of booking if you require it. An accessible BBQ and picnic area are located on the southern side of the park, near the playground area. The area features a Christie's All Abilities Access BBQ which allows wheelchair users to access the cooking facilities.
Activities Around Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park Accessible Accommodation
The Belmont Baths, located at Brooks Parade, features a fully enclosed lake swimming area with a jetty, accessible ramp and amenities with accessible toilet and shower. A 'Mobi-Chair' (amphibious wheelchair) is stored on-site for free use and accessible by MLAK key. Click HERE for more information. There are a number of accessible swimming spots in the area with ramp access to some beaches, beach wheelchairs and accessible bathroom facilities. In 2020, an accessibility upgrade at Blacksmiths Beach was completed, allowing people of all abilities to have the chance to enjoy the beach. Works included an all-access ramp, pathway and viewing platform. The Toronto Swim Centre provides an indoor inclusive swimming facility with hoisted access, a pool wheelchair lift and a hydrotherapy pool. Lake Macquarie Variety Playground; This fully fenced playground is located at Speers Point on the northern tip of Lake Macquarie.
