Set on six peaceful acres in Lake Macquarie, Lake Macquarie Manor offers spacious and flexible accessible accommodation where guests can holiday alongside family, friends and support workers.

The Manor features seven private, lockable guest suites, each with its own ensuite, together with generous shared kitchen, dining, lounge and living areas and outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy. The property is wheelchair accessible throughout, with ramps and lift access to all areas.

Guests can book an individual suite or, where available, the entire property for a private group stay. This makes the Manor a particularly flexible option for accessible holidays, family getaways and supported stays, with plenty of space to spend time together while still having the privacy of your own room and ensuite.

Suite 4 – Main Accessible Suite

Suite 4 is our dedicated accessible suite, designed for guests with higher physical support needs. It features:

- Split king electric hi-lo bed, with both sides independently hi-lo

- Additional long single hi-lo bed, which can be set up with an air mattress if required

- Spacious, wheelchair-accessible layout

- Accessible ensuite with roll-in shower

- Multiple grab rails

A range of accessibility and transfer equipment is also available on request, including:

- Ceiling gantry hoist

- Mobile hoist

- Sit-to-stand recliner

- Shower chairs or stools

- Toilet surrounds with handles

The hi-lo beds are permanently included in the suite. Other accessibility equipment can be arranged on request prior to your stay.

Suite 6 – Semi-Accessible Suite

Suite 6 provides an additional option for guests with some mobility or transfer requirements who do not require a fully wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

The suite has a wide entrance and flat, roll-in access, and the bed has clearance underneath to allow the use of a mobile hoist for transfers. The ensuite shower is also flat access; however, the bathroom is not designed as a fully wheelchair-accessible bathroom, as the toilet is located in a separate space.

Accessibility equipment such as a mobile hoist, shower chair or stool and toilet surround can be provided on request where suitable.

Additional Guest Suites

The Manor offers a further five private ensuite suites, providing flexible accommodation for family members, friends and support workers travelling together.

These suites have step-free/flat access, including flat-access showers, although their ensuites are not designed as fully wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Depending on individual requirements, shower chairs or stools and toilet surrounds with handles can be provided.

Shared Living & Outdoor Spaces

Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and shared living spaces, making it easy for groups to prepare meals, relax and spend time together while still enjoying the privacy of their own suites.

Outside, guests can enjoy the Manor's peaceful six-acre setting, including:

Nearby Morisset has supermarkets, shops, cafés and other everyday essentials. Families can also visit the local park, which includes an accessible Liberty Swing operated with an MLAK key.

The broader Lake Macquarie area offers accessible foreshore areas and pathways, beaches and lakeside destinations, while Newcastle and the Hunter region provide plenty of options for longer day trips.
