Forrest Guesthouse Accessible Accommodation has one accessible suite, "Barwon Suite", which sleeps up to 4 people. The property is also pet-friendly! The main bedroom has a King bed that can also be configured as twin singles. There is also a sofa/trundle with two single mattresses. Forrest Guesthouse is located in Forrest, Otway Ranges. The Forrest Guesthouse is 100m from the local brewery and general store, and only 1km from adaptive mountain bike trails. Stevenson’s Falls is wheelchair accessible and is only 8km away. Forrest Guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat overlooking beautiful gardens.
The Barwon suite is their most accessible suite; however, they also have three other suites if you are part of a larger group or travelling with a carer and want a separate suite.

There are three other suites on the property which may suit other travellers as part of a group booking:
1 x King or twin singles suite (Forrest Suite)
1 x Queen suite (Lake Elizabeth Suite)
1 x King or twin singles suite plus an additional two singles in sofa/trundle (Otway Suite)

All suites are part of the same building, which is connected by a shared verandah overlooking the garden. There is a BBQ in the garden which is accessible by a path around the side of the guesthouse from the street. There are electric blankets on the bed in the main bedroom.

Barwon has the largest kitchen, with a long bench along the back wall, allowing several people to spread out along it at once. The bench is 930mm high, and the reach to the sink tap is 500mm. The controls for the rangehood are 1500mm from the floor, and set back 250mm from the front of the bench.

Like all their suites, each comes with a microwave and a plug-in induction cooktop. A mini fridge with freezer is tucked under the bench along with a frypan, pots, a mini toaster oven, and a toaster.

Some items normally stored in the cupboard above the rangehood, such as wine glasses, may be out of reach for a wheelchair user, but they are happy to move anything down to a lower level during your stay if you let them know.

The Forrest Guesthouse is 8km from a wheelchair accessible waterfall called Stevensons Falls.
The Forrest Guesthouse is also 1km from the Southern Trailhead, which has a number of adaptive-friendly mountain bike trails.
