Bayside Geelong Hotel and Apartments Accessible Accommodation has ten Superior Accessible Rooms, nine of which have a luxurious king-size bed and one includes a single electric hi-lo bed and a separate single standard companion bed, along with a ceiling hoist (please bring your own sling) for guests with higher accessibility needs. If you require the room with the ceiling hoist please request this when making a booking. Note that there will be a small additional fee for the use of the ceiling hoist. All Superior Accessible Rooms feature an accessible ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, a comfortable chaise lounge, dedicated workspace, a 65” flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Every detail has been considered to ensure a safe, comfortable, and inclusive stay, including an accessible pool! 

Key accessibility features include: step-free access, Roll-in showers with grab rails and shower seating, lowered light switches, amenities, wide doorways, and a Kettle tipper—a cradle system for safer, easier pouring. Seven of the rooms offer an interconnecting option with a Superior Twin Room – ideal for families, carers, or companions. The room with the ceiling hoist is on the ground floor and is interconnecting, ideal for families and carers.

There is beach matting to provide a safe pathway from the Eastern Beach car park and footpath to the water’s edge at the outdoor swimming enclosure.
