Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park With Accessible Accommodation is located in the beautiful Lake Macquarie region, just 90 minutes north of Sydney and a short drive to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. Featuring two accessible villas and two accessible safari tents. With stunning views, wheelchair-friendly ramps, self-opening entrance doors, large circulation spaces, motorised adjustable kitchen benchtops and cupboards, remote-controlled blinds and accessible bathroom facilities. Furthermore, they have an accessible pool with a pool wheelchair on site as well as beautiful sensory rooms.

Accessible Safari Tents feature a large open-plan tent with a queen bed, a height of 640mm with 80mm underneath, and a set of single bunk beds.

Their 2-bedroom Lake Mac Villa – There are two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, which can be split into two singles. The beds are 670mm high with 120mm clearance underneath.

Their 3-bedroom Lake Mac Villa has three bedrooms, two with king-size beds that can be split into two singles. The beds are 640mm high with 120mm clearance underneath. The third bedroom has a bunk bed that sleeps two people.

Accessible Safari Tents – combine modern comfort with a connection to the great outdoors, offering an exceptional holiday experience for all guests.  Features include: an easy-access ramp, an accessible bathroom, a spacious interior with ample maneuvering space, a kitchenette, a dining area, a TV, air conditioning, a large deck, and a complimentary hoist available on request.

Park facilities include a swimming pool with an accessible ramp, a camp kitchen and recreation room, BBQ areas, a playground, mini golf, and basketball and tennis courts. With the lake accessible directly from the park, it’s not hard to find plenty of activities to keep busy on holidays. Blacksmiths Beach and Caves Beach are only a 5-minute drive away, or you can pack a picnic lunch and pick a spot on the foreshore to watch the boats go by at Swansea Channel. Activities In Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park With Accessible Accommodation

Swimming pool. Their large swimming pool features ramp access, and they also have an aquatic wheelchair available for guest use. There is ramp access to the pool area along with accessible amenities inside the pool precinct.

Camp kitchen and recreation room. The camp kitchen and recreation room have flat access and feature BBQs and outdoor tables. It is located adjacent to the playground and pool precinct.

Belmont Baths The Belmont Baths, located at Brooks Parade, features a fully enclosed lake swimming area with a jetty, attached accessible ramp and amenities with an accessible toilet and shower. Beaches There are a number of accessible swimming spots in the area with ramp access to some beaches, beach wheelchairs and accessible bathroom facilities allowing people of all abilities to have the chance to enjoy the beach. Blacksmiths Beach has a ramp to the beach, and beach wheelchairs are available during patrol season.

This fully fenced playground is located at Speers Point on the northern tip of Lake Macquarie.
