Blacksmiths Beach and Caves Beach are only a 5-minute drive away, or you can pack a picnic lunch and pick a spot on the foreshore to watch the boats go by at Swansea Channel. Swimming pool Their large swimming pool features ramp access and they also have an aquatic wheelchair available for guest use. There is ramp access to the pool area along with accessible amenities inside the pool precinct. Camp kitchen and recreation room The camp kitchen and recreation room has flat access and features BBQs and outdoor tables. It is located adjacent to the playground and pool precinct. Playground A new playground was installed in 2020 with an accessible spinner. The playground is located adjacent to the camp kitchen. Belmont Baths The Belmont Baths, located at Brooks Parade, features a fully enclosed lake swimming area with a jetty, attached accessible ramp and amenities with accessible toilet and shower. A 'Mobi-Chair' (amphibious wheelchair) is stored on-site for free use and accessible by MLAK key. Click HERE for more information. Beaches There are a number of accessible swimming spots in the area with ramp access to some beaches, beach wheelchairs and accessible bathroom facilities. In 2020, an accessibility upgrade at Blacksmiths Beach was completed, allowing people of all abilities to have the change to enjoy the beach.
