  Tanja Lagoon Camp's safari style of accommodation provides shelter and comfort with minimal separation from the beautiful natural setting in an Accessible safari tent. The BURU accessible safari tent is set up to provide wheelchair accessibility. The tent rests on its own spacious deck. Inside the tent is a beautiful and comfortable handcrafted Queen size bed positioned to enjoy the best of the view when the tent is fully opened. There is also a lounge area with a sofa and writing desk. During the cooler months, a heater is provided to take the chill out of the room. At the back of each deck is an ensuite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, microwave and cooking equipment. There is a quality gas barbecue with a hotplate, grill, oven chamber and side burner. The spacious front decks have views of the lagoon, a comfortable dining setting, and a bioethanol brazier. Each accessible safari tent also has its own fire drum with camp chairs and firewood provided. Weather permitting, they encourage guests to enjoy the pleasures of a campfire. All linen is provided and the use of their canoes and a delicious selection of local produce items for your first breakfast is included in the price.

Bordered by National Park and a coastal lagoon the property is surrounded by vibrant natural habitat. Wildlife is in abundance. Around the property, there are many places to sit and enjoy the natural bush setting and view the resident wildlife. A short drive away is beautiful Bithry Inlet with a 50m flat sandy walk to the waters of a lovely lagoon for swimming. Read more HERE. Take the spectacular headland track which links the Tathra headland and Tathra Wharf. Enjoy sweeping ocean vistas and spot dolphins, sea birds and of course whales during the whale watching season. The all-abilities walkway features a series of boardwalks and walking paths as well as an elevated viewing platform, beautifully crafted from reclaimed wharf timbers.
