Riverwood cottage is a historical cottage situated on the Yarra River flats that has been lovingly restored to accommodate guests requiring a roll-in shower and level access. With three bedrooms, the property is easily accessible with ramp access and a widened doorway. Inside is all hardwood flooring which flows throughout with no steps.
One of the three bedrooms has queen size beds and widened entry. The second room with a queen-size bed has an ensuite, and the third room contains a single bunk and queen. The main bathroom has a roll-in shower and separate toilet room, all fitted with widened doorways and handrails. A basic shower seat is available if required
The property is just 3 minutes from central Warburton which allows visitors to enjoy all that the amazing Upper Yarra Valley has to offer.

The property backs onto the Yarra river and allows access to your own piece of tranquillity. Or take an amazing walk along the river trail (flat and smooth) from the property that leads through the caravan park and into Warburton township.
A short drive up through the beautiful Yarra Ranges National park to the rainforest gallery viewing platform with wheelchair access, that takes you into the rainforest canopy 15 meters above the ground. Then drive further up the mountain for views over the valley, and in winter for snow play!
Warburton Rainforest Gallery: A 350 metre long elevated walkway takes you through the Rainforest Gallery where you will see magnificent 65-metre tall old growth Mountain Ash trees, ancient Myrtle Beech trees, There is a viewing area that is suitable for wheelchairs, prams but the actual gallery is down some steep stairs. Discover the magic of the redwoods at East Warburton. Sequoia Sempervirens or Californian Redwood trees are significant because of the history and extent of the plantation. There are over 1476 trees ranging from 20 metres to the tallest being 55 metres.
