Paradise Resort is one of those must-visit places for every family, regardless of how old the kiddies are. As Australia’s only resort with a giant Water Park, Ice-Rink, Kids Club and Teen Club, free daily activities, restaurant, cafe & bar plus loads more, and is renowned as a ‘cruise ship on land’. This place is a mecca of holiday fun with an ice-skating rink, waterpark, kids’ club, laser tag, daily activities, and loads of entertainment offered all year round, not to mention it’s only a few short metres from the iconic Surfer’s Paradise beach.
Plus, the resort has recently undergone a major renovation, with brand new Deluxe Rooms, lobby and new bar and dining outlets and added plus an online ordering system so you can order your meals and cocktails from your poolside lounge.
There are also heaps of amazing activities, including a miniature train, teen zone for the older kids and, coming later in 2022, is an adults-only lap pool and lounge bar. So, while the resort is famous for its onsite Kids Club, which caters for children 0-12years, the newly added teen zone ensures children 13-17 are taken care of as well so that parents can also have a much-needed break.
The resort offers a range of hotel-style accommodation throughout its 360 guest rooms catering for families as large as up to eight, including the popular themed Bunkhouse rooms which feature brightly painted bunk beds and family rooms with a second smaller bedroom. Coles and Woolworths, Liquorland and BWS are also close by. You will find the tram line just 200 metres from the resort which takes you to major shopping centres and the Star Casino. The esplanade is just 400 metres away and north or south you can enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast beaches patrolled by lifeguards in designated zones. Regular buses will also take you to all the major theme parks.
