Home and Hound Kendenup Accessible Accommodation specialises in accommodation that’s dog friendly, meaning you can bring your pooch on holiday with the rest of the family. Bluff Knoll house is a roomy two-bedroom house. One room with a queen-sized bed, and the other with three single beds, all linen is supplied. Both rooms are very large.

With the house all fully fenced for dogs, you can remain sure your dog will remain safe while you go and explore the local National Parks.

Bluff Knoll house is situated at the top of the property. This house has magnificent views of the Porongurup’s from the picnic table on the front veranda. This house is in close proximity to the owners’ residence, whilst still being very private and secluded.

Indoor spaces

The living room has a flat-screen TV, some games and books, and two leather couches.
The separate dining room has a large table seating six, and a fully equipped kitchen including a full-size electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and full-size fridge.
The bathroom has a step free shower and a mobility shower chair is supplied. There is a separate toilet.

The laundry is very large and includes a full-sized washing machine.

Outdoor spaces

Enjoy sitting on the front veranda at the large picnic table and just watching nature, or prefer a stroll along the back fence to the fire pit and viewing area of the Stirling Ranges .

The front looks over rolling farmland towards the Porongurups. It is a peaceful spot to have breakfast and watch the native birds go about their daily activities. The rear of the chalet encompasses a fully fenced yard suitable for dogs. This house is in close proximity to an off-leash exercise area for dogs, additionally, you can make your way down the driveway to the bottom of the property and walk around the lake.

The front of the house overlooks the horse training area, and you may catch a glimpse of horses training in the evenings or mornings.

Activities In And Around Home and Hound Kendenup Accessible Accommodation

Home and Hound Kendenup is also the location of animal-based activity. Located out the front of Bluff Knoll house is the house paddock with either sheep, goats, or an Alpaca for interactions. Some animal feeds are supplied with every stay and guests can feed at their leisure.

There are free-range poultry, and horses all located within the vicinity. The animal handling yards are within flat and easy distance from the house, should you wish to book specific activities with them.

There is a very large greenhouse and also fruit trees within easy distances. Along the back of the house is a roadway leading to a seating area that has views of the Stirling ranges.
Should you feel like a hill walk, you can make your way to the bottom of the property where the ornamental lake is.

There are off-leash dog exercise areas at both ends of the property.

Take a drive to one of the wheelchair-accessible lookouts at Bluff Knoll or along the coast to the Convoy Walk and Lookout.
