Buffalo Bed And Bike Mount Buffalo Accessible Accommodation is pet-friendly, accessible, self-contained two-bedroom apartment surrounded by lush farmland with views of Mount Buffalo and the Ovens Valley. Also, on-site is a lovely Farmhouse, should multiple families choose to stay. Only the living and dining spaces of the farmhouse are accessible. Guests requiring wheelchair accessibility have their own apartment-style living to enjoy.
Pets are welcome on request, please note there is a fenced dog run.

Completed in 2020, this spacious, well-appointed two-bedroom apartment was built to high energy efficiency standards and Australian accessibility standards. With views of the Ovens Valley and Mount Buffalo from bedrooms, lounge and dining areas it is a great place to unwind. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven/hotplates, microwave, accessible sink and dishwasher.
The main bedroom has a queen-size electric bed and the second bedroom has a double bed with an optional additional single bed. The accessible bathroom has an open roll-in shower area with a fold-down shower seat, or a free-standing shower seat if preferred. The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four guests and has a Weber for cooking outdoors and a fenced dog run.
There is wheelchair access from the single carport to the apartment entry.
As mentioned, there is also a large three-bedroom farmhouse on the 2.5-acre property which can be booked as well (please fill in the enquiry form to discuss). It has a full-sized kitchen and bathroom with a bathtub as well as a shower (non-Accessible). There is wheelchair access from the apartment to the main house which has step-free access via a 900mm sliding door. Guests with disabilities can comfortably join the rest of the group in the large living and dining area.
Both properties are pet-friendly and the owners live on the property in a separate apartment
With a 10 minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Bright and 4km to the nearest winery, you can have the best of both worlds.

Also, you have the option of a Support Worker. I care (aged care and additional needs support) from $45 p/h (increased rate for weekends and sleepovers). The travel fee applies after first 5kms from Myrtleford. The first 5km is free, then $1 per km. The property is located 17km from Myrtleford.
