We serve award winning home cooked food, using fresh local produce. Michael, who is a chef by trade, carefully selects the meat from local Woolacombe and North Devon suppliers and small producers. Fresh vegetables are delivered daily. The bread is made daily in our own kitchen from organic flour, and organic milk is produced by a small local herd of award winning Holstein cows. Every effort is made to ensure the food we serve is GM free. Special diets (e.g. diabetic and celiac) can be accommodated and a vegetarian choice is always available.
The spacious well appointed lounge makes an ideal meeting place before setting out for the day, or a tranquil arbour to relax in after the evening meal. The lounge, restaurant and bar are all on the ground floor and are wheelchair friendly. The guest house's well stocked bar provides a friendly atmosphere in which to have a drink and discuss the day's activities.
Polite friendly dogs are welcome at Sunnymeade. There are many walks on public footpaths directly from the hotel; Woolacombe and Saunton are dog friendly beaches where dogs can be walked on the beach all year round
