How do I search for suitable accommodation?
Firstly visit our Accessible Rating page which will give the information relating to the features of accessibility that a property can have, then when you know which one is correct for you you can select this on the advanced search section along with the other criteria that you may have eg, where you wish to travel to, or how many people,or cost. You can also search for properties by browsing the area/country/region sections, example. Lets say you wish to have a holiday in the South East of England, you can select via the sections on the left hand side of the screen ENGLAND from the drop down box Under "UK & Ireland" then you can select South East and the properties within that are will be listed you can then browse through then to find the one you like the most.
What are the from and to Prices? These are weekly rates. And although you may be looking for just 1 or a few nights. A lot of people taek holiday in blocks of weeks and therefore we felt that if accommodation lists their prices as per week, it gives a standard for all properties on the site that your can get an undersating of budgets.
How do I contact the property owner? When viewing the property details you will notice different "tabs" listing what you can view, ie Information, more information, rates, Contact, etc. Just go to the Contact page and from here the property owner will have put the details, Either email, or post or by telephone.
How do I know that the property is Accessible For my Requirements? Well the aim of this site is to allow accommodation that is accessible to be listed and the person who will know that property the best is the owner or agent who has listed it. And within the listing they will have selected the correct Accessbility Rating and will have included various other points about the property within the information tabs on the property listing. Ie how wide the doors are, whether it has a bath or shower, ramps or steps, etc. but if you feel there is not enough information or you just need to know more, then contact the owner of the property and ask the directly.
How do I pay for the property? Details on how to pay can be found on the proeprty tabs if the owner has put them there, or during your contact with the owner you can discuss payments with them. All payments will be direct with owner/agent of the property, No payment for any property will be made with AccessibleAccommodation.
Am I insured with Accessible Accommodation? No. Any insurance that is required for the property will have been put in place by the property owner/agent. If you require any Travel Insurance you can visit the recommended providers on the FLIGHTS + page of the site.
What about Flights etc? If you require flights or car hire, or travel Insurance or a few travel extras, please view the recommended providers of these service on either the Flights + page or via the adverts on the right hand side of any appropriate page. We have tried to only allow those companies that provide great service at reasonable costs. If you find different please let us know!
What happens is the Property Rating is incorrect? If for whatever reason you find out or believe a property has been listed incorrectly, then please let us know. We will contact the owner of the property and discuss the listing to see if any alterations need to be made to either the property of the listing of it. We would love to visit every property that is listed on the site "think of the airmiles" but it is not possible to do so, and therefore the description and listing of a property is the responsibility of the owner/agent.
