Avebury and Silbury Hill - amongst the world's most important
prehistoric locations and Devizes itself is overlooked by Roundway
Hill, scene of a major Civil War battle. The stunning Georgian city of
Bath with its famous Roman baths and new Thermae Spa and Salisbury with
its beautiful cathedral are both within easy reach. With Longleat
Safari Park, the stately home of Bowood House, the gardens of Stourhead
and the beautiful village of Lacock all nearby, the local area can
cater for all tastes.
