The washing machine is in the bathroom. There are outdoor clothe lines for your washing.clothes pegs and shoe-cleaning gear. An iron and iron board are also provided.
The two sofa-beds are one double and 2 single. A cot can be provided. An additional twin bedroom with full bathroom en-suite can be rented at all seasons as a back-up to your unit. This room is accessed directly from the garden. The outsoor infinity swimming-pool is a short distance away, beyond a flowery hedge.

Notes:
Fresh linen and towels are supplied weekly and pool towels are also provided. The swimming pool (from end of April through to September) is a large infinity pool with loungers, sunshades and a poolside shower. Your terrace can be lit in the evening.. Central heating if required is charged separately. The meter is read when you arrive and before you leave and you are charged only for what you use. There is a shaded car park area. There is no objection to smoking in the garden.
When you arrive
Your apartment will be ready and a bottle of estate Chianti will be waiting for you ... for a good start! You will also find a folder with practical information and some useful telephone numbers to assist you during your stay. Arrival time is from 16:00 hours and departure time is by 10:30 to allow for changeover. When you reach the estate gates at Via S. Lorenzo a Colline n.9 please ring the bell for your apartment and wait for a response over the video/intercom. Once the gates open just drive very slowly down to the house; the gates close automatically. You have reached your holiday destination! You can go to Florence by bus (timetable in your folder). you can also drive to Florence, but you must head for one of the designated car parks, as driving around the city centre is only allowed on Sunday. Don't forget that
the food shops in Italy open at 08:00 and shut firmly from 13:00 until well after 16:00. They close in the evening around 20:00. Many supermarkets, however, including the ones at IMPRUNETA and GRASSINA, stay open all day (closed on Wednesdays). Some are also open on Sunday mornings. On Sundays most shops are closed except for some smart clothes shops in Florence. But many takeaway shops (Rosticceria) are open in the morning and so are cake and ice-cream shops. Restaurants and Trattorias serve lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and dinner usually between 20:00 and 22:00. Some require advance booking. Cafes and Pizzerias stay open later. Museums and galleries have late night opening hours in the Summer. Afternoon concerts are at 16:00 and evening concerts usually begin after 20:30.
