Welcome
to
our small organic farm with stunning views over the Valdottavo valley
and the high peaks of the Appenines. We produce our own olive oil and
chestnut flour, bake our own bread, make jams from our own fruit trees
and classic Italian sauce from our own tomatoes, and grow a variety of
vegetables. Our solar powered (well, some electric!) farmhouse has two
comfortable, fully furnished apartments that will feel like home the
moment you step inside! Each has its own entry on a lovely terrace
where you can relax and enjoy outdoor dining, including pizza from a
brick oven.
A great base
for
traveling around Tuscany or a beautiful setting to just escape and
relax. Only six miles from the historic walled city of Lucca, between
Florence and Pisa. Within an hour of sunbathing on Viareggio’s beaches;
canoeing and kayaking on the Lima river; exploring caves of the famous
1200m deep Antro del Corchia and Grotta del Vento at Fornovalasco,
canyoning in the Orrido di Botri, seeing Michelangelo's Carrara marble
quarries; enjoying the hot springs at Bagni di Lucca hot springs; or
skiing in the wintertime. Avid shoppers may seek the myriad of outlet
