Set in the heart of unspoilt countryside the hamlet Le Guily (pronounced Gilly) is ideally situated for exploring Brittany. With its own unique atmosphere Le Guily is a wonderful place to ensure a secluded, tranquil and relaxing holiday.

Once two thriving farms, Le Guily has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard, retaining its original character and charm. Each cottage is extremely comfortable and spacious, offering facilities for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility and fully equipped with everything you need for a great holiday.

Set in two acres of land Le Guily offers a spacious centrally located courtyard with ample room for parking surrounded by beautiful established landscaped gardens, which are accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.

The gardens have plenty of space for children of all ages to run around, explore and play safely without disturbing the other guests. A play area is equipped with swings, slide and climbing frame.

In the grounds is a boules court and ample room for cricket, football, badminton etc.

With various seating dotted around, the space is great for relaxing, family games, entertaining or enjoying the beautiful views.

A large games room equipped with pool table, table tennis and electric darts also now has a multi-gym and cross-trainer.

Positioned next to the games room is the laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

With large granite fireplaces, original oak beams and comfortable furniture, the cottages have plenty of character and are individual in style.

In summer the thick stone walls keep the cottages cool and airy, but for autumn and winter, the cottages are warm and cosy with roaring log fires and additional heating. Each cottage is fuly equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. 

Les Marrons

Once the main farmhouse, Les Marrons is a traditional granite built Breton house which retains its original atmosphere and features, with a beautiful fireplace, exposed stone walls, wooden floors and beams.

The open plan ground floor offers a spacious kitchen/ dining room and living area.

At the front of the property is a patio area with an old cider press converted into a large stone barbeque. The sheltered spot has a table and plenty of seating.

The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with gas cooker, large fridge with freezer box, mocrowave with grill, toaster, kettle, cafetiere and plenty of crockery, cutlery and additional items.

Positioned under the large French windows is the large farmhouse table with ample seating and views across the courtyard and gardens. The cosy living with comfortable furnishings and built in seating at the side of the large fireplace is well equipped with satellite TV, DVD player and CD/cassette/radio system along with plenty of books and some toys and games for all ages.

Also on the ground floor is a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The room has an exposed stone wall and large french windows with views across the courtyard and gardens. In a wet room style, the bathroom is large and includes a bath, shower and toilet and hand rails.

The first floor consists of the three bedrooms, two of which are large double bedrooms, one with twin beds. The other room is a smaller twin room. Also upstairs is another bathroom with bath and toilet.

La Maison du Jardin

Beautifully restored with a large stone fireplace, log burner, exposed stone walls and beams throughout; the pretty five bedroomed cottage is full of character and charm whilst offering every modern convenience.

The extensive ground floor is open plan with a large kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with gas oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, cafetiere, plenty of crockery and cutlery and various other items. There is plenty of seating around the large farmhouse table.

Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with spacious en-suite bathroom. In a wet room style, the bathroom has a bath,shower toilet and hand rails.

The 4 upstairs bedrooms have quirky original wooden flooring and beams throughout. There are two spacious double bedrooms, one room with bunk beds and a single room. There is also another bathroom with bath and toilet.

At the front of the property is a large garden laid to lawn with pretty flower beds, shrubs and trees to ensure total privacy. There are two patio areas with ample seating and barbeque, one sheltered, the other a sun trap.

All entrances are accessible and doors are extra wide for easy buggy/wheelchair access.

We supply hand hoists, bath seats, wheeled shower chairs and raised toilet seats. With advance notice we can hire other equipment such as electric wheelchairs and beds and hoists.
