The Limonaia apartment owes its name to the lemon trees ('limoni') which were kept there in the winter months in their large terracotta pots. This is a newly converted unit accessed through a couple of very large arched French doors, level with the grounds. It is thereby perfectly suitable for wheelchair access. It is pleasantly cool in the Summer. It is equally comfortable in the Winter months owing to its central heating. The walls are whitewashed and the floors have attractive sand-coloured terrazzo tiling. On accessing Limonaia you are in a spacious drawing room , leading off into a walk-in closet leading on to a shower-room, complete with washing machine, and a fully equipped, comfortable kitchen. The furnishings include a Queen-size bed, two bed sofas, a writing desk, and a dinner table with 4 chairs. Limoaia's terrace has two lounging chairs and a round dinner table with a sunshade and 5 chairs. A small barbecue is at hand.
