We are located on a beautiful 5 acre olive grove nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Sierra Subbética Park with a view “to die for” and are only 5 minutes from Andalucía's largest lake. Sitting on top of the hill above the lake is the beautiful white village of Iznajar (which means Happy Castle)
We are in a perfect location for those of you who want to explore Andalucia and then return to a haven of relaxation.

Open Arms/ Brazos Abiertos is ideally placed for easy access to the motorway network. The airports of Malaga and Granada are just 60 minutes away. There are magnificent places to visit such as The Alhambra Palace, Seville, Cordoba and all within 90 minutes. If you would like to spend a day on the beach at the Costa del Sol you can be there in 60 minutes.
All this means that you can spend lazy days around the pool and still be in a great location to visit some of the worlds best historical sites.
The Grounds
We are set in a five acre olive grove, which is still farmed for its fabulous olives. Andalucia produces some of the finest olive oil in Spain.
Hidden within the land will be little rest areas where you can stop to enjoy the views. We also have two very important residents; Vinnie and Ote, (as in Don Quixote) our wonderful miniature donkeys, who just can’t get enough of being cuddled and petted)
Accommodation and Meals
We have four, luxurious, en suite double rooms (beds can be either single or one king size). Each room is decorated to reflect a different season of the year.
Luxury linens and towels are provided and because a good night’s sleep is so important, the mattresses and pillows are of top quality.
Each room has a flat screen TV with DVD, tea & coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. For your comfort the rooms are fitted with under floor heating and air conditioning.
All rooms have two windows, this means that you have views of the olive grove and of the beautiful interior courtyard.
EN-SUITE
The fully accessible, en-suite shower rooms are stylish, using tiles of the finest quality and are fitted with a large walk/roll in shower. Deluxe towels and complementary bathroom products are supplied.
Brazos Abiertos has a lounge with TV, DVD, book library, bar, dining area, patio-dining area, swimming pool, hot tub and sun terraces.
During the colder months a log burning stove provides cosy warmth to the lounge and dining area, and all areas of the hotel have under floor heating.
If you choose to dine with us, our evening meals are home-cooked and wholesome. They are prepared from fresh local produce and reflect a blend of Spanish and International dishes. Vegetarians and those with special dietary needs are very well catered for.
The Pool and Terraces
We have a fully accessible heated swimming pool, which enable you to swim all year round. In addition why not try the hot tub: perfect for relaxing on a starry night
The sun terraces have ample furniture and an Arabian style cabana provides the shade and privacy for an optional range of health and beauty treatments.
